Field Trip!

For almost two months Deuce has been going to a weekly program similar to preschool, but it just meets for 30 minutes once a week. So far, he seems to REALLY enjoy it. From what I can tell, the class is grouped by school grade - all of the children will be in the same grade together when they are school-aged.

There's a lot of music and movement, crafts, and learning things like the alphabet, days of the week, and months of the year. Last Thursday the class went on a field trip!

We went to one of the area pet stores and the children learned about and got to touch a bird, a chinchilla, a ferret, and a snake!

And yes, that's me holding a snake (some kind of constrictor), trying to show Deuce it was ok!
